Keep it human
Before anyone can see the community, a real person reviews their verification selfie. Every face you meet here belongs to a real, present adult — that's the whole point of the place.
bareground is a small, verified community for nudists, naturists and gentle free spirits. Nothing about you is visible until you decide it is — and everyone you'll meet has proven to a human reviewer that they're real.
↑ Not a mockup — this is how every photo on bareground actually behaves. One tap reveals it, one tap frosts it back.
Not vibes — mechanisms. Each of these is built into how bareground works.
Before anyone can see the community, a real person reviews their verification selfie. Every face you meet here belongs to a real, present adult — that's the whole point of the place.
Photos load frosted for everyone, every time. People opt in to seeing you — never the other way round. Change your mind about any photo and it's gone from view, instantly.
Age checks happen with an independent partner who tells us one word: adult. Verification photos are deleted after review. Nothing is sold, nothing trains an AI, nothing is searchable from outside.
A small gate keeps the garden quiet. It takes a day, not a minute — and that's why it works.
During the beta you arrive by invitation — from a member, or from us after a short hello.
A quick age check with our independent partner, then one selfie holding a handwritten note. A human reviewer looks at it, says yes, and the photo is deleted.
Browse the gallery, join a forum thread, sit quietly in chat, RSVP to a picnic. Share a photo when you're ready — or don't. Shy is a fine way to be here.
“I'm finally in a space where my body is exactly right — without judgment, without commerce. Berlin needs this.”
“The first community where even introverted people feel welcome. Vienna deserves more of this.”
“A Swiss place of quiet honesty. No superficiality, no performance pressure.”
